Volunteers who gave 120% line up to say thank
you to parents, students, and faculty at the
Annual Fund Pancake Breakfast on March 28. From (right to left),

(Chair of the 120% Club), Tricia Lawdahl, Jane Cochrane,
Nancy Furman, and Garland Mattox.
March 28 got off to a great start with a pancake buffet for all
parents, students, and faculty, and it ended in similar upbeat style
during carpool with balloons, bags of blue and white M&M's,
and waving volunteers wearing tee shirts reminding everyone to "Give
120% to CCES. It was all part of a 120% Celebration Day designed
to acknowledge parent and faculty participation in the Annual Fund.

CCES parent Kelly Baird, Chair of the 120% Club,
whose aim is to encourage donors to the annual fund to increase
their gift by 20% over their giving during the prior year's campaign,
congratulated the volunteers who lifted spirits throughout campus
with their message of appreciation.

"Our volunteers helped show our Annual Fund gratitude to all
parents, students, faculty and staff," she said. "These
wonderful volunteers were Valerie Slade, Jane Cochrane,
Nancy Furman, Tricia Lawdahl, Garland Mattox, Millie Isley, Laurie
Quattlebaum, Liz Einstein, Dottie Hollis and Keri
Geary. We appreciate all of their help and assistance in
thanking our school for supporting the Annual Fund."
Director of Annual Fund Dolly Durham added her
message of thanks: "The Annual Giving 120% Celebration was
truly a fun time for all. It is our hope to express to all 120%
supporters how much we appreciate them. We hope this celebration
will acknowledge that many individuals in our school community give
120% to CCES in support and time."

Every Gift Counts
Durham reminded the CCES community that the 2007-08 Annual Fund
is close to goal but still needs support. She said, "Please
remember that participation is the key to a successful Annual Giving
campaign. Every gift counts and makes a difference. Your gift is
another commitment to CCES. As of March 31st, our total is $563,000,
94% of goal. We will reach our total goal of $600,00 by May 31st,
if everyone will take just a few minutes to participate in the campaign.
It All Starts Here [with you]!"
