Admission Criteria

Christ Church Episcopal School shall seek academically qualified students. Admission will be determined by the following criteria:

  1. Admission is open to any student regardless of race, color, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin whose previous academic record is satisfactory and whose performance on the test for admission demonstrates ability to meet the required standards. While CCES offers Christian education and worship in the Episcopal tradition, the school accepts students of all religious affiliations.
  2. Applications are accepted throughout the year but are strongly recommended by December 1st.
  3. Waiting list status for a particular grade terminates October 15th. If a space becomes available after October 15th, the application process must be renewed. For admission in a subsequent year, the application process must also be renewed.

Policies

Non-Discrimination Policy

Christ Church Episcopal School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship programs, or activities.

School Board Policy for Students With Learning Disabilities

Christ Church Episcopal School is a college-preparatory school and admission of a student is based on prediction of ability to handle a challenging academic curriculum. For this reason, before accepting or re-enrolling a student with any identified learning disability, the school must have current testing information, which will be reviewed by a committee prior to admission or re-enrollment to assess the possibility for success for the student in this school environment.

If the student is accepted or re-enrolled, the School will try to accommodate the student's learning needs through special services available to the student’s family by additional financial arrangement (in addition to accommodations available within the classrooms).

Religious Affiliation

As stated in the Mission Statement, it is the mission of Christ Church Episcopal School "to foster a Christian environment that encourages each student to reach his or her full intellectual and spiritual potential."  While affiliated with Christ Church (Episcopal), the School serves students of all faiths.
