This deep-focus landscape by Janice
Hu ’09 was created to fulfill an
assignment in Dan Harris's Photo I class and was later enhanced
using
PhotoShop techniques.
Photos by three CCES students, Janice Hu ’09, Parker
Niebauer ’09, and Hunter Smith ’08,
and one by former CCES exchange student Maria Orogvaniova,
will be included in an exhibit entitled "OYF Foto Students
& Guests" at the Oliver Yu Fotographie Gallery at 48 Liberty
Lane in Greenville. The exhibit will open with an Artist Reception
on Friday, December 7, 2007, from 6 - 9 p.m. and will continue through
January 29, 2008. The public is invited to attend.
Images
by Oliver Yu's adult photo students will be featured along with
those by CCES students. All of the CCES images were produced for
assignments in Dan Harris's Photo I class.

According to Mr. Yu, who selected the photos to augment the exhibit
of his own students' images, "Their works displayed exceptional
talent, creativity, great imagination and good technical understanding
of photography."

We hope that you will make it a point to visit the exhibit and see
up close the vision and technical mastery our students bring to
their assignments in the Photo I class.
