JV Team Cheers On Kids In Local Hospitals

They are used to cheering on their classmates and fellow students at sporting events,
but this Valentine's Day, the JV Cheerleaders sent cheers to children in local hospitals.

Coaches Penny Hinton and Andrea Fox treated the girls to pizza at the Mellow Mushroom as a treat for cheering at the Varsity Girl's basketball game on February 8. While they waited for their order to arrive, they pulled out heart-shaped stickers and cut out hearts to decorate their cards. Each was personalized with a special message inside.

The group was enthusiastic about supporting the project publicized by radio station WLFJ. In all, they contributed 50 cards to hospitalized children in the area.
