General Financial Aid Information

The financial aid program at Christ Church Episcopal School has been established in an effort to reduce the possibility that a qualified applicant or current student would be unable to attend CCES solely as a result of financial need. Current students and applicants accepted by the Admission Office may apply for financial aid by following the procedures below. Applicants must demonstrate financial need as reported by the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) in Princeton, NJ, an independent outside agency conducting evaluations on behalf of CCES. Financial aid awards are granted on an annual basis and governed by the Financial Aid Award Review Policies which can be accessed through the link below. Financial aid is always contingent upon the availability of funds in any given year. Additional factors taken into account in the award decision process are academic performance and the applicant’s potential to make a positive contribution to the life of the school community.

Need Based Application Procedures

Families interested in possible need-based financial aid for the upcoming school year should apply as follows:

  1. November 1, 2011– January 31, 2012
    a. Complete a Personal Financial Statement (PFS) financial aid application for the 2012-2013 academic year online at www.sss.nais.org.
    b. Print a copy of the PFS for your records and to assist you in the future.
  2. No later than April 16, 2012
    a. Or as soon as complete, please submit a copy of your 2011 tax return to the CCES Business Office, 245 Cavalier Drive, Greenville, SC 29607
  3. Student re-enrollment and new enrollment contracts for families applying for financial aid will be mailed by February 27, 2012 with a due date of March 30, 2012. Please note that CCES will hold a space open for financial aid applicants during this process.

Please Note:
Timely submission of the PFS no later than January 13, 2012 and your 2011 tax return prior to April 16, 2012 is required for the award process. It will allow ample time for you to re-enroll your child(ren) if they are current students OR to determine whether or not to matriculate your child(ren) if they are accepted into Christ Church Episcopal School.
