"When I had my own children I realized that much
of the nurturing I received as a child came from my teachers in
the small school environment offered by a private school. "
My mother worked alongside my father in their business. They worked
long hours when we (5 of us) were children, and this did not leave
much time for day-to-day parenting. When I had my own children I
realized that much of the nurturing I received as a child came from
my teachers in the small school environment offered by a private
school. Although I did not enter CCES until high school (first graduating
class!!), CCES was a continuation of the small, caring, and nurturing
world that helped me realize my goals. That is primarily why I chose
it for my children.
