International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program Coordinator Nancy White announced that all twelve IB diploma candidates in the Class of 2006 earned the prestigious international diploma.

She stated that since the first CCES IB Diploma class in 2001 a cumulative total of 94 out of 96 candidates have achieved the diploma--an impressive 98% pass rate.

Complete statistics have not yet been released by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), but CCES has far outperformed the 2006 international pass rate of 79.86%.

All CCES students participate in the IB Primary Years and Middle Years Programs. In eleventh grade, students have the option to pursue a standard college-preparatory course or the IB diploma program.

Congratulations to the IB Class of 2006 and to the Upper School IB faculty!
