Are there times when you are having trouble saying "no" to your child? Are there times when you are unsure how much responsibility to give your children as they mature?

Then, take out your calendars and mark them for the following dates, when the LS Community Issues panel will present the next in its series of workshops to discuss Boundaries with Kids (When to Say Yes, When to Say No, to Help Your Children Gain Control of Their Lives). The book, by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend focuses on self-control, responsibility, freedom and love as the foundation of boundaries--those limits that help children to grow and adults to be good parents.

The one-hour workshops (known as "The P.I.T. Stop" series) will convene at 8:15 a.m. in the Lower School Dining Room on the following Thursday mornings: Feb. 14, March 13, and April 10.

The Feb. 14 meeting will discuss the first five boundary principles found in the book on pages 57-133.

Come prepared to share your insights, experiences, and questions!
