Eighth-grade Students Accepted in All-State Band

Middle School Band Director Rita James has announced that eighth-grade students Ayano Tanaka and Margaret Wang were accepted into All-State Band.

Ayano Tanaka made sixth chair flute and Margaret Wang made fifth chair clarinet in the South Carolina All-State Band. These students compete with top musicians from the entire state for these rankings.

The students auditioned for All-State Band on Saturday, January 27, at Lexington High School.
