Joy Baker Named Gold Award Winning Teacher

Middle School Spanish teacher Joy Baker was honored as a "Gold Award Winning Teacher Level 1" by the National Spanish Exam. During the 2006-07 school year, a remarkable total of 53 percent of her eighth-graders were recognized for their performance on the National Spanish exam, including two gold medal winners, four silver medalists, four bronze medal winners, and 11 honorable mentions, for a total of 21 recognized students. Ms. Baker has been teaching Spanish at CCES since 1992.
