Fiber Fun with a Real Farmer!

Boy, do we have a treat for you! Come join Deb Potter, a farmer who brings her own wool and materials to teach children the basics of weaving. Deb will show how you get from a “sheep to a shawl” and then lets kids do their own dyeing, weaving, and felting. The younger children will have time to wetfelt mud rugs and small mats, make twist bracelets, and dye their own yarns for their projects. The older children will get to build their own looms! This is a unique opportunity that your kids are going to love!

Around the World with Art

Students will explore the world through art and will learn about countries and cultures. They will work with 2-D
and 3-D media to create their own expressions using traditional and folk art styles. Come create with us!

Students will explore and create with a different part of the art alphabet each day: line, shape, color, pattern, and texture. They will have fun making many things to take home. Don’t miss out on this terrific art class!

Creative Crafty Fun
June 23 – 27 • 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. • Rising Grades 2 – 5 • $115/week

Have a blast making crafts in June! Themes for the week will include: Under the Sea, Room Décor, Butterflies & Critters, Crafty Cooking, and Book Character Crafts. Youngsters in grades 2 through 5 will enjoy making some of the following crafts:
Bubbly Beach bags, Pretty Pails, Poolside T-shirts, Framed Name Poems, Jewelry/Treasure Boxes, Watercolor Butterflies, Pom-Pom Critters, Decorated Place mats, Stamped Aprons, Snazzy Snack Recipes, Puppets, and Fancy Cards.

July 14 – 18 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. • Rising Grades 3 – 5 • $120/week

Instructor: Mr. Ollie, professional cartoonist
A beginner-level cartoon instruction course on how cartoon characters are formed out of basic shapes. Also, the
movement of characters and animals will be studied as well as color techniques. All methods used will be just
like the pros – don’t miss out on this great class!


Advanced Cartooning with Mr. Ollie
July 14 – 18 • 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. • Rising Grades 6 – 12 • $120/week

Instructor: Mr. Ollie, professional cartoonist
This class will help teach basic “how to’s” in order to create cartoon characters and animals, adding more detail
into the drawings, and learning professional techniques for producing cartoon art work from first-draft stage all
the way through to the finished product. Advanced color work, used in the form of story book and gag cartooning illustrations, will be taught as well.
