FULL (Closed) All About Hiking & Biking
June 9-13 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. • Rising Grades K5 – 5 • $60/week

Come and experience a week of outdoor adventures as we learn about safety
while exploring biking and hiking in our area. Greenville is filled with trails to
walk and ride on, and we will travel to Cleveland Park, Paris Mountain, and
Linky Stone Park. Each day we will ride and/or hike, so be prepared with proper
equipment!! More information will be provided before the start of camp.

FULL (Closed) Splish Splash!
July 7 – 11 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. • Rising Grades K5 – 5 • $60/week

Instructor: Kimberly Morgan, CCES Middle School Teacher
Campers will study the importance of water to their everyday lives, and will also play water games, participate in
water sports, and enjoy some splashy competitions. Come join us for this week of water fun!

Junior Olympics
June 23 – 27 • 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. • Rising Grades K5 – 5 • $60/week

Instructor: Tina Batchelder-Schwab, CCES Middle School teacher
Let’s learn about some of the early Olympic traditions as well as some of the new ones! We will participate in
our own version of a mini-Olympics throughout the week. We will learn about the origination of the most popular
sports in the Olympics as well as how to play them. We will also create a new “Olympic sport” with rules that we
will teach to the parents on Friday during our medal presentation.

FULL (Closed) Animals All Around
July 21 – 25 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. • Rising Grades K5 – 5 • $65/week

This week, campers will learn about animals native to our Upstate. We will make crafts and play games, and
we will explore and discover various habitats. We will even take a trip to the Greenville Zoo for some first-hand
knowledge of care-taking. The cost for the camp includes zoo admission.

FULL (Closed) Traveling Around the World
July 14 – 18 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. • Rising Grade K5 – 2 • $65/week

Instructor: Jessica Apple, CCES Lower School Teacher
What do people in other countries like to eat? Ever wonder what is fun to do in China or Africa? What animals do
they see every day? In some countries it is more common to see a giraffe than a dog! Let’s go from the Pyramids to the Great Wall and see how people live all along the way. We will take a look into their culture, experience their
music, play their games, and make crafts. On Friday we’ll get up close and personal with the wildlife of other
countries by taking a fun trip to the zoo. The cost includes zoo admission.

It’s All About Me!
July 28 – August 1 • 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. • Rising Grades K5 – 5th • $75/week

Instructors: Mel Lyons, retired Greenville Police Officer, and CCES Encounters staff
Join us for a week that is all about you! The focus for the week will be on how each camper is truly an
individual. By creating art, stories, games, books, and drawings, we will look at the differences between each
person to see how each of us is truly unique. We will also have a special presentation with a Greenville County
retired police officer as he shares with the campers the keys to Saying No to peer pressure as well as the
basics of Stranger Danger in order for each of us to be the individual we were meant to be! Join us for this fun
and informative class!
