Open Hearts: Reaching Out Through Service Learning
June 23 – 27 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. • Rising Grades 4 – 6 • $99/week
Instructor: Elizabeth Jarrett, CCES Director of Service Learning
Limit: 12 students
Each day the class will begin by learning about different service opportunities in Greenville. The mission of each
service organization will be discussed so that the students can understand the purpose and the function of the
agency that they will be serving. Students will then be transported by CCES minibus to a local Greenville agency
where they will volunteer. Fee will include materials for service projects and transportation.

FULL (Closed) Super Heroes!
July 7 - 11 • 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. • Rising Grades K5 – 1 • $60/week
Instructor: CCES Summer Encounters Staff
Join us for a week of super fun! We will start the week by creating our own Super Hero character with super
powers and a super costume. Then we will become Super Heroes in the community! We will help write getwell
notes for children in the hospital, put together paper bags of food for the soup kitchen, design cards for our
troops overseas, and much more. Campers will learn how they can be a true Super Hero in their community by
helping those around them. Join us for this week of engaging activities that your child will never forget!
