Lights,
Camera... Video ACTION!
July 7 – 11 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. • Rising
3 – 5 • $80/week
Instructor: Terry Moo, multimedia producer
Limit: 20 students
There’s a lot more to making a movie than pushing the REC
button on your camcorder. Students will learn
how to set up their cameras, compose shots, plan and shoot scenes
using a storyboard, direct talent, edit and
assemble their shots, gather sound, and put their production on
a DVD. Students will work in teams and rotate
production jobs with other members of the team so that each skill
position is experienced. It is not necessary
that each student have their own camcorder, but each team will need
at least one camera for the group. This
is a high tech (and high fun!) course. Come learn valuable skills
that will help you succeed in life and school by
being a team player.
