Occupying 7,500 square feet at the heart of the Upper School campus,
the library is central to the mission of CCES. The library holdings
include approximately 9,700 books, videos, and DVDs. The Upper School
Library is committed to creating students who are literate in using
the full range of information resources, including print sources
and online sources.
Acknowleding that the real challenge for today's students is not
access to information, but management of all the information that
is readily available, the staff of the Upper School library focuses
upon teaching students to locate, organize, synthesize, and evaluate
information in its many forms. The Upper School Library promotes
the integration of information literacy skills across the curriculum.
