The Greater Greenville Association of Realtors has announced that CCES senior Shawn Jamison Miller has won the first-place Susan Scott Lynch Scholarship Award in their recent essay and scholarship contest. The award, in the amount of $4,000, is named in honor of Susan Scott Lynch, a Greenville District schoolteacher who died of cancer.

Miller, who plans to attend Wake Forest University this fall, is one of several CCES Upper School students to win essay contests this spring. See our stories about the two students who won the Colonial Dames essay contest and the three students who won the annual Bar Association Law Week Essay contest.

Our students' ability to think critically and to write well is a credit not only to them but also to our faculty. Congratulations to all of them!
