Dear CCES Community,
Spring has arrived, and along with warmer temperatures, the colorful blooms, and the pollen, there is a palpable energy pulsing throughout the CCES campus.
From our celebratory alumni gathering on campus to our Middle School performers preparing for what will surely be a delightful production of SpongeBob the Musical to our student athletes competing on our fields, tracks, and courts, CCES is an inspiring place to be.
While this part of the school year is always packed with activity, I find it especially remarkable how seamlessly everything is taking place against the backdrop of bulldozers, front loaders, excavators, and construction crews. It is a testament to the shared excitement of our community that we can continue to celebrate everything that makes CCES so special while a bold and transformational future is quite literally taking shape before our eyes.
Inside the flipbook, you’ll find more than just plans—you’ll see potential with renderings that bring the vision to life, photos documenting the progress on campus, insights from families who deeply believe in this work, recognition of the many volunteers and donors leading the way, and opportunities to influence what happens next.
This is truly a once-in-a-generation moment for CCES. The loop road will create a safe and pedestrian-centered campus for our students, faculty, staff, and coaches, and the TIDE Center and the new Sports Performance Building will expand upon the excellence that has always defined how our students learn and grow—creating spaces that reflect our best qualities and our future aspirations.
While I am incredibly excited to witness our shared vision coming to life day by day, what has inspired me the most throughout this journey is the collective spirit that is animating this transformation.
Over 250 families and community members have already stepped forward, and their leadership and generosity is the driving force behind taking an ambitious dream and turning it into a meaningful reality.
And yet there is still important work ahead.
If you have already made a commitment, thank you. Your support is shaping the future of this school in lasting and profound ways.
If you are considering how you might be a part of this incredible endeavor, I invite you to take that next step. Every commitment—regardless of size—builds momentum. It signals belief. It inspires others. And it brings us closer to realizing all the possibilities for our students.
I would welcome the chance to connect with you personally—whether to answer questions, to share more about the vision, or to continue the conversation. This is our moment as a community. The future we are building will benefit not only today’s students but generations of Cavaliers to come.
Thank you for the vital role you play in making CCES such an exceptional place.
With gratitude,

David Padilla
