It is my pleasure to welcome you to Christ Church Episcopal School and to invite you to learn more about this special place.

For more than sixty years, CCES has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, artistic exploration, athletic success, and service to all. Starting with our youngest members and continuing through the developmental stages of Lower, Middle, and Upper School, CCES is dedicated to honoring the experiences of childhood and to equipping young people for the demands of an ever-changing world.

Our faculty share a passion for excellence, a dedication to high expectations, and a commitment to support every student. We try to meet all of our students where they are and to push them beyond where they think they can go. We are a community of dedicated professionals who set the standard of excellence locally, regionally, and nationally in in the classroom, on the stage, in the studios, on the fields, and in the larger community. Dedicated to making the student experience as full and substantive as possible, we know that “Education” is not merely something that happens in a classroom. It is a never-ending process which occurs wherever and whenever an individual is open to learning and where adults are willing to guide and direct.

As an Episcopal school we welcome students from all faiths, because our identity as a community of faith is at the center of all that we do. We offer a balance among academics, the arts, athletics, service, and the fostering of a spiritual life. We value the unique character that each individual brings to the school and strive to recognize the strengths in each child. And now—perhaps more than ever—we understand the inherent need for everyone to feel a sense of belonging as a member of a community.

Above all else, we are a community of learners—adults and students alike—dedicated to aspiring to standards of excellence and to devoted service to each other and to the world around us. Our graduates are prepared not simply for the demands of college, but they are also ready to make a difference in the greater world as dedicated, curious, civically responsible, critically-thinking leaders in their communities.

Again, I look forward to welcoming you in person to our beautiful campus.
