Christ Church Episcopal School is committed to being ready to return to School in August. Our top priority is the health and safety of our community.
The outlines in this document will offer some clarification both about the plan to be on campus this school year as well as what could occur if a situation outside our control arises. Meanwhile, our institutional goals remain unchanged: thinking deeply, acting responsibly, living vigorously, believing faithfully, leading resolutely, and creating imaginatively.
The school is working diligently to protect the people on campus from the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. I cannot emphasize enough that our best effort is a team effort and that involves our entire CCES community. We cannot know the scope of infections; therefore, when you enter campus, it is critical that you answer the screening questions honestly.
In the midst of uncertainty, some may be tempted to fill in the blanks with dire forecasts. To avoid these perils, CCES will provide timely and accurate information in our correspondence. This letter will share our deliberate planning process, and the June 19th correspondence will report explicit and concrete details about the look of school in August.
