The Upper School Experience

The CCES Upper School offers a distinctive balance of innovative learning opportunities and time-honored academic traditions. The Greenville, SC independent high school serves students in grades 9 through 12, providing deeply challenging educational environment focused on preparing each student to shape his or her future with self-awareness and self-confidence.

Marked by small classrooms and academic programs that emphasize supportive and interactive learning, the Upper School gives students the ability to pursue a highly-individualized course of study that flexes as their interests, skills, and long-term goals emerge throughout late adolescence.  However, the educational experience of the Upper School extends beyond this rigorous academic focus, offering students ample opportunities to explore their creative talents, participate in athletic programs, and engage in various activities that help develop rewarding relationships, leadership character, and community impact.

Preparing Students for Lifelong Success

The CCES Upper School is one of South Carolina's premier independent high schools and is recognized for providing students with an engaging and supportive environment that challenges them intellectually, socially, spiritually, and physically. The Upper School builds on the strong academic foundations established in the Lower School and Middle School, while motivating each student to pursue his or her fullest potential, both in beyond the classroom. If you would like to learn more about our school, we encourage you to contact us for additional information or to schedule a visit to our Greenville, SC campus.
