Sports Hall of Fame

CCES Alumni Office is taking nominations now through May 4 for the 2021 Sports Hall of Fame. 
The Christ Church Episcopal School Sports Hall of Fame was organized for the purpose of honoring alumni, coaches, and special contributors who have had a significant impact on the athletic programs at CCES.

In order to maintain the integrity of the Sports Hall of Fame, the following criteria have been established for nomination and subsequent induction into the Hall of Fame. Each inductee shall have demonstrated the following during his/her tenure at CCES:

  • Consistent respect for and loyalty to CCES
  • Good record of character and citizenship
  • Exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and moral character
  • Superior or outstanding competitive career in CCES athletics

List of 3 items.

  • Athlete

    • Must be a graduate of CCES
    • Eligible 7 years after graduation
    • Those honored should have substantial athletic achievement as a representative of a CCES team
  • Coach

    • Any inactive or retired coach
    • Eligible upon retirement from CCES coaching duties for which they are being considered
    • The coach must have had an important impact on the CCES
      athletic program and on the sport(s) which he/she coached
    • There is no specific length of coaching time required for consideration, and a coach at any level may be nominated
  • Special Contributor

    • Served CCES athletics for at least 7 years
    • Made a significant contribution to CCES athletics through their leadership, inspiration, and support
    • Accomplishments raised or set a standard for future coaches, teams, administrators, and supporters of CCES athletics
Nominations must include the following:

  1. Completion of the nomination form.
  2. A minimum of two letters of recommendation (submitted by using the form). The individual submitting a nomination may also submit one of the letters of recommendation. All recommendation letters must be submitted via the form.
