PRAYER | Constitution Day

Father Wallace offered this prayer on Constitution Day, September 17th, after a number of students shared things they had written about the Constitution and our liberties.

Generous God, you have blessed us, the people of the United States, in innumerable ways;
and surely one of the greatest gifts you have given
us is our Constitution:
Help us, Lord, to be good stewards of the good
government that has been handed down to us.
Give the American people,
we pray, Lord, wisdom and courage.
May we do all in our power to
secure liberty and justice for all.

In name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen.
