CCES REVEALS LOGOS OF TRACK SPONSORS UNDER THE FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

by Kim Gendron, Athletics Social Media and Internship Coordinator

Prior to the Cavaliers’ final regular season game on Friday, October 25th, the CCES community recognized Spinx Corporation and Coldwell Banker Caine for their generous track sponsorship at Carson Stadium. Through these two organizations’ partnership and support, CCES was able to fully resurface the track over the summer.

During this recognition ceremony, the new scoreboard branding was revealed with the Spinx and Coldwell Banker Caine logos. On the field during the reveal were Jane Harrison Fisher of Coldwell Banker Caine, her children Lacy and Mary Mac, Coldwell Banker Caine agent, Jacob Mann, Steve and Allison Spinks, their children Aiden, Amelia, and Ford Spinks, Stan Storti of Spinx, his son Joseph Storti, along with CCES cheerleaders, members of the track/field and cross-country teams, and Dr. Leonard Kupersmith.

When asked what this gift means to our athletes, John Mark Elliot, Girls’ Cross-Country Coach, stated: “The CCES cross-country and track programs are growing exponentially in number and talent. The resurfacing of the track will afford our teams and athletes the opportunity to pursue their goals without limitation. This is a gift to our school, and one that our running programs will steward with gratitude.”

Track and Field Coach, Kimberly Morgan, added: “The new surface will help relieve extra stress on running legs, joints, and muscles. Our student-athletes will hopefully be able to train faster, harder and longer while remaining injury free!”

Stephen Edgerton of Coldwell Banker Caine said of his company: “We are proud to support CCES and look forward to a long partnership.” CCES is extremely grateful for the generous support of Spinx and Coldwell Banker Caine and trust that the trilateral partnership will benefit all parties. This gift will be cherished by many and is a true testament to the spirit of community that makes this school so special.
