The Middle School Experience

With a history in the community that dates back more than 50 years, the CCES Middle School is one of the Greenville, SC area's oldest and most prestigious private middle schools. Serving students in grades 5 through 8, the Middle School provides a distinctive educational experience in a supportive, student-centered environment.

In the Middle School, the CCES experience emphasizes unique learning opportunities adapted to the intellectual, social, and physical abilities of adolescents. Skills that help students excel academically and personally — such as leadership, critical-thinking, creativity, and team building — are emphasized across diverse subject areas. And, with a number of carefully planned beyond-the- campus programs, bountiful extracurricular options, yearlong service learning projects, and other pivotal middle school opportunities, students are able to engage in activities that enhance their academic studies while encouraging their personal development.

Encouraging Students To Excel

As one of the Greenville, SC area's finest private middle schools, the CCES Middle School offers students a well-rounded educational experience where they can learn, grow, and excel. The Middle School bridges the transition from the nurturing environment of the Lower School to the challenging academic focus of the Upper School and prepares students for success both inside and outside the classroom. For additional information about the CCES Middle School experience, or to schedule a visit to our campus, we invite you to contact us.
