The Cav Fund

The CavFund is an annual giving campaign that directly supports the CCES mission of preparing students to think deeply, act responsibly, live vigorously, believe faithfully, lead resolutely, and create imaginatively.

Gifts to the CavFund impact every single student on the CCES campus by covering the gap between annual tuition and the cost to run the school, roughly $3,100 per student. In making a gift, you are supporting the academic programs, artistic offerings, athletic pursuits, service learning, and Episcopal traditions that make CCES a transformative educational experience for our students.

Broad community participation is critical for the health of the School, and all members of the CCES community are encouraged to invest in the success and life of CCES with a gift to The CavFund.

We know that any gift we give to CCES is going to be put to good use, and the benefits of our gifts will be multiplied repeatedly across the whole CCES community and beyond.

Founders Club

The CCES Founders Club plays a critical role in CavFund’s success and CCES’ ongoing progress as a leading independent school. Our leadership donors provide more than 80% of CavFund dollars each year. CCES honors all of our donors, but especially those that support the school at such a generous level. Through their leadership gifts, these donors ensure that CCES remains fiscally sound and prepared with the vital resources we need each year. The Founders Club recognizes donors who make annual gifts to the school at the $1,959 level and above.

Founders Club members are recognized in the CCES annual report, website, and are invited to special gatherings throughout the year.

CavFund Frequently Asked Questions

  • + What exactly does my CavFund gift do?

There is a $3,100 gap per student between the cost of tuition and the cost to provide the CCES experience. The CavFund helps cover that cost for every single student, supporting the day-to-day needs of long-term programs that enhance the experience of every CCES student.
  • + Why does participation matter?

Participation in the CavFund is a vocal vote of confidence in our mission and the value of a CCES education. Your participation with a gift that is personally meaningful for you and your family demonstrates how you value the CCES experience. No matter the size of your gift, every gift makes an impact.
  • + What is the deadline for making a gift?

All gifts must be made by June 30. Remember, you can pledge any time and have until June 30 to fulfill your pledge!
  • + How is the CavFund different from Capital and Endowment giving?
