If all documents are submitted on time, newly accepted families can expect to know the outcome of their application by the first week of March so that they may make an informed decision prior to enrollment. Renewing financial aid applicants can expect a decision during re-enrollment at the end of January. Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you have questions. All information provided related to the parents' financial circumstances will be treated confidentially. This information will only be used to make a fair determination of financial need.

Please be aware that the Financial Aid Committee may request an interview if it has unresolved questions about your financial information or feels that a discussion would be helpful to the Financial Aid process. ALL required tax documents mentioned above must be submitted through TaxStatus in Ravenna directly. Please DO NOT send any documentation to the CCES Financial Aid Office.

What is financial aid?

Financial aid is need-based assistance provided to help families afford the cost of tuition. It’s awarded annually and does not need to be repaid. The admission application and financial aid application should be submitted.

Who can apply for financial aid?

Any family who has applied for admission and feels they may need help paying for tuition is encouraged to apply. We recognize that each family’s financial situation is unique, and we’re committed to making our school accessible to a broad range of families.

Do you have any income limits for financial aid?

We do not have set income limits for financial aid, as each family’s financial situation is unique. Our financial aid process considers a variety of factors, including income, assets, family size, and other obligations, to gain a full picture of each applicant’s circumstances. We encourage families who feel they may need assistance to apply, regardless of income level.

How do I apply for financial aid?

CCES partners with Ravenna Financial Aid to help assess a family’s financial need. To apply:

1. Go to https://aid.ravennasolutions.com/apply

2. Create an account or log in.
3. Complete the Parent Financial Statement (PFS).
4. Upload your required documents 

What documents are required?

• A completed Ravenna Application (Parent Financial Statement)
• Your most recent federal tax return and W-2 forms

ALL required tax documents mentioned above must be submitted through TaxStatus in Ravenna directly. Please DO NOT send any documentation to the CCES Financial Aid Office. Additional documents may be requested by Ravenna or the school during the review process.

When is the deadline to apply?

The deadline for current families is December 1, and the deadline for prospective families is January 15. Applications submitted after the deadline will be reviewed as space and funds allow.

Do both parents need to submit financial information?

Yes. If parents are divorced or separated, both households must submit separate PFS forms and financial documents. We believe both parents have a financial responsibility for their child’s education, regardless of legal arrangements. 

How is financial need determined?

Ravenna analyzes the information you provide and gives the school an estimated amount your family can contribute to tuition. The school uses this estimate, its internal policies, and available funds to determine your financial aid award.

Will applying for financial aid affect my child’s admission decision?

No. Our admission decisions are need-blind, meaning they are made without regard to a family’s ability to pay. If your child is accepted and receives a financial aid grant, the amount awarded will be included on the enrollment contract.

Do I  reapply for financial aid every year?

Yes. Families must reapply annually, as financial aid is based on each year’s financial circumstances.

Is financial aid available for all grades?

CCES offers financial aid for all grade levels.

Are other school expenses covered by financial aid?

Financial aid covers tuition. Additional aid may be available in some cases; please contact the Admissions or Business Office for more details.

Are there additional ways to pay Tuition? 

• Tuition Payment Plans: CCES offers 9-month and 11-month payment plans that let families spread out payments over time. Please refer to our Tuition and Fee Schedule.

• 529 Plan: Families can use up to $10,000 per year from a 529 College Savings Plan to pay for K–12. Before making withdrawals, it's advisable to consult with a tax advisor to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and to maximize the benefits of your 529 plan

• Education Loans: Families can apply for private education loans, often through banks or credit unions. If approved, funds are sent directly to the school. These are optional and not managed by the school.

When will I know if our family is a financial aid recipient?

I have a current student at CCES. When will I hear about FA for my applicant?

• Families applying for Financial Aid must submit all required documentation by the deadline for priority consideration.

• Financial Aid decisions for current students will be made independently of a sibling's acceptance to CCES. The financial aid decision will be released for current students during re-enrollment. 
• If the sibling applicant is accepted into CCES, the Financial Aid Committee will consider the new student alongside their sibling(s) financial contractual obligation. If the family qualifies, the financial aid award will take into consideration current siblings. 
• Financial aid decisions are made independently of admissions decisions and will be communicated simultaneously on the final acceptance contract.

Does CCES offer sibling discounts?

No, CCES does not offer sibling discounts.
