Welcome to Summer Encounters!
As the Director of Auxiliary Programs, it is my privilege and pleasure to welcome you to CCES Summer Encounters Camps 2024! Summer Encounters is a day camp program in Greenville, SC with a comprehensive and exciting collection of summer camp programs that provide meaningful opportunities for every camper in (rising) grades K4 to 12. With a variety of day camp activities, extended stay options, and schedules offered, it’s easier than ever to LEAVE THE SUMMER TO US!
This year, our greatest desire is to continue bringing you quality, enriching and awesome camps for your children. You and your child will be able to choose from 250 camps, several of those being brand new to Summer Encounters. While we always love to bring back our camp favorites like Digging for Dinosaurs, Cake Decorating, Nerf Battles, Dodgeball and American Girl Doll camps, we are super excited to introduce our new camps. Be sure to check out camps like Dude Perfect camp, Star Wars Jedi Academy, Arena Football, Shark Week, Celebrity Portraits, Rowdy Recess, Embrace Your Unique Personality, and so much more! We worked hard to increase our number of offerings for our Middle School aged campers like Madden Masters, Bull vs. Bear and TaylorNation (for all our Swifties out there) and to also bring new opportunities for the loyal campers who attend Summer Encounters Camps year after year. In addition, you’ll notice some great offerings for High School aged students to enhance their academic skills like SAT Crash Course, Anthropology, and Standardized Test Prep and even assist with the college application processes.
We have been working diligently this spring meeting with our Summer Encounters teachers, training our over 60 high school counselors, and working with our college interns to ensure that the summer of 2024 is our best summer yet! If you have any questions about content, assistance with registration, or inquire about the best summer camp selections for your family, we invite you to contact our team at summer@cces.org.
Sincerely,
Tracy Weldie
