Summer Encounters Registration Opens Feb 2, 2026.

Welcome to Summer Encounters!

We’re already counting down to another unforgettable Summer Encounters! While registration officially opens in February, we’re excited to give families a first look at what’s ahead for Summer Encounters 2026.

Our camps are designed for curious kids who love to explore new interests, dive deeper into favorite activities, and discover all the fun that summer has to offer. With hundreds of engaging options—ranging from sports and outdoor adventures to science, art, technology, creativity, leadership, and beyond—there truly is something for every child.

Whether your camper is joining us for a half-day or a full-day experience, each week offers opportunities to:

  • Try something new in a safe, fun environment
  • Explore interests ranging from sports and STEM to arts, creativity, and outdoor adventure
  • Meet new friends and build connections that last beyond summer
  • Have fun—the kind that makes summer memorable

Our team is already hard at work preparing for an incredible summer full of camp favorites like Digging for Dinos, Ultimate Sleepover, Nerf Battles, Slime Squad, and Barbie Dreamhouse, plus BRAND NEW camps such as K-Pop Dance Club, Detective Academy, Acting Like Animals, Viral Crafting, and 90’s Kids. We can’t wait to welcome your camper to share the energy, excitement, and discovery that make Summer Encounters so special.

Ready for summer,

Beth Campbell

Meet the Team

Beth Campbell

I’m Beth Campbell, the Director of Auxiliary Programs at CCES. I lead our team in making sure our programs are innovative, fun, and safe for all Summer Encounters campers. My family is new to Greenville and loving all the area has to offer! Outside of work you can find me spending time with my son and husband, who is a Middle School teacher at CCES, enjoying a good book, or rewatching a favorite tv show. “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose.”

Andrew Wheaton

My name is Andrew Wheaton and I am the Auxiliary Programs Operations Coordinator. I began as an extended day teacher at CCES in 2023 and am a proud dad of three wonderful daughters (Abby, Maggie, and Georgia) and husband to a beautiful wife, Elizabeth! I am a native of the great state of Georgia but have called Greenville home for over a decade. Outside of work you can find me rooting for the LSU Tigers, playing golf, or going to concerts. "Laissez les bons temps rouler."
