2018 College Experts Panel, Hosted by the CCES College Counseling Office

by Jamie Bryant, Director of Marketing & PR
Our College Counseling Team, comprised of Linda Schulz, Director of College Counseling, Bartley Sides and Lindsey Waters, Associate Directors of College Counseling, are invaluable resources to our Upper School Students.  Nationwide, the national average high school counseling student-to-counselor ratio is 457-1.  At CCES, our three college counselors work with 30-35 juniors and seniors each, helping them navigate the college admission process.

Each year, they host an event for our Upper School students.  Last winter, they hosted a Mock College Admission Case Study Event for parents and students. On January 21, they will host a College Experts Program for students and parents of 9th-11th graders that begins with a panel discussion featuring admission directors from Clemson University, University of South Carolina, Georgia Institute of Technology, High Point University and Sewanee: The University of the South. Following the panel, 9th grade families to will attend a CCES Experts Panel and 10th and 11th grade families will attend sessions on college admission related topics led by college representatives. The lineup of guests and sessions is nothing short of incredible.
