Danny, Gina, and Mary Earl Varat ALL IN at CCES

We were thrilled to welcome noteworthy alumnus Danny Varat, CCES Class of 1984, to speak at our spring Open House on March 21st.

CCES Headmaster Dr. Leonard Kupersmith introduced Mr. Varat saying, “Danny is all in in whatever means a lot to him. His loyalty to CCES is steadfast and striking. Life for the Varats revolves around the school. His wife, Gina, is a visionary fifth grade science teacher; their daughter, Mary Earl, an eighth grader, started here in Primer. Danny is an ardent CCES sports booster. He was a varsity baseball player for four years at CCES and a varsity soccer and football player as well.”

Danny Varat has been a state government official, an aide to a state senator and a lieutenant governor, served for two terms on the state board of education, and Board chair for ten successive years of Greenville First Steps.
